Tapatalk may have to be disabled.

It’s sad but it seems Tapatalk is causing issues with our web host. It is very frequently sending requests to our Tapatalk plugin to such an extreme that it is reducing server performance and may need to be disabled.

I am in contact with tech support for both our host and Tapatalk to try to figure out what is going on.

Update: Apparently the issue was caused when Tapatalk updated their plugin which they say may have been corrected with their latest update. I have also taken certain steps fine tune bot access to the domain which should help. For now it looks like the issue is resolved.

Update: Ok issue may NOT be resolved but the problem is definitely Tapatalk. Plugin has been updated. Keeping an eye on it.

Update: Tapatalk is now disabled. Sorry folks it was that or the website. Updating the plugin did not seem to do the trick. Tapatalk was causing abnormally high CPU usage on our webserver. Apparently this has been a long standing issue with Tapatalk. I will continue to try to work with their tech support if possible but for now we’ll just have to live without.

A new face for battling the New Year!

Umbrae dropped the pen on the table and shook the cramps from his hands. He urgently rolled the last scroll and tossed it onto the pile.

“Geoffrey!” he yelled as the young squire rushed into his study.

“Yes, Sire!” he prompted awaiting his master to respond.

“Take these piles and scatter them about,” Umbrae waved his hands over the stacks of parchment.

“Scatter them where, Sire?” he questioned. Geoffrey flinched slightly as his master’s eyes quickly flashed upon him.

“Where? Where people will see them, of course!” Umbrae proclaimed. “Preferably those that have frequented the most recent gathering place.”

“At once, Sire!” Geoffrey acknowledged as he gathered the bundles of scrolls and scurried off.

For existing members, please note we are unable to get user information from our previous host. As such, unfortunately, we will need users to re-register at the new location (there is a login/register panel on the right hand side of the site). If you had specific privileges that need to be applied to the new site, please contact myself or Bowen Bloodgood either here on sotarp.org or the official Shroud of the Avatar Forums.
